Sunday Concerts in the Hercules Hall of the LIECHTENSTEIN MUSEUM (last Sunday Concert 25 December 2011)
The symbiosis of classical music and the centuries-old art collection with masterpieces by Rubens, Rembrandt and van Dyck takes the visitor into the world of past epochs in the magnificent setting of the Baroque summer palace.
Published three to four times a year, the LIECHTENSTEIN MUSEUM in Focus series showcases highlights of the Princely Collections. Containing detailed background information, these leaflets are available in German and English from the LIECHTENSTEIN MUSEUM shop at a price of € 2.00.
The LIECHTENSTEIN MUSEUM is an institution where paintings, sculptures furniture and other arts and crafts objects are presented in a contemporary manner, reflecting centuries of systematic collection. In keeping with this approach, each month a different artwork is presented separately on the upper landing of the West Stairway. This may be a recent acquisition or a work that has been retrieved from the repository of the collections and restored.
